I would have the DJ to a pleasant mix of all music. I’ve never been to a wedding where I liked every song played.

mostly good dance music. THe last wedding i went to played everything from bluegrass to rap, and Hannah Montana. No one should really mind if every song is not their type.

If you have a good DJ then it will all be fine - thats his job to work the crowd & play what suits the scene etc. Trust me if hes a good one it will be no worry for you at all - besides its yours & your partners wedding you should ask for music that you both like not your families!

Do a mix,2 songs of every genre every hour. That’s what I’m doing.Don’t worry as long as you play enough songs for everyone to enjoy themselves, you all will be fine.I’m spanish and my fiance is white,so we have the same problem, girl. So play 2 of rock, country, rap, rnb, reggae
    christian and repeat.Dont worry,everyone will have a good time.They
need to understand that both families need to be pleased, not just one.
My fiance tried pulling that crap on me,oh please don’t play any spanish.UGH,ya right,Your family is not gonna be the only ones
enjoying themselves. That’s my families favorite type of music,so I’m gonna play some spanish.
